Online divorce filing

Already used Hello Divorce?

They handle the divorce. We handle the year after it, which is where most of the actual work turns out to be.

What Hello Divorce does well

No notes. If you used them, you made a good decision.

  • Attorney-founded, with real credibility on state filing requirements
  • A vetted network of attorneys, mediators and financial analysts, licensed per state
  • Flat-rate pricing against a process that traditionally runs $10,000+
  • Genuinely good at the thing they sell: getting a divorce filed and accepted

What it doesn't cover

A decree settles the legal question and starts the administrative one. Your name is still on a mortgage. Your ex is still the beneficiary on a 401(k). Your will still names them as executor. None of that changes automatically, and nobody sends a reminder.

  • Changing your name across Social Security, passport, banks and employers
  • Retitling a house, a car, or a jointly held account
  • Rewriting a will and updating beneficiaries after the decree
  • Advance directives and powers of attorney naming a former spouse
  • Anything that happens more than a few months after the case closes

Based on Hello Divorce's published scope as of August 2026. This describes what the service covers, not how well it does it — and their scope may change.
